My husband and I drove 5 hours from Houston to Dallas specifically to purchase a 2022 Audi RS e-tron GT from Bishop after he had spent the week communicating with their salesman, Ahmed, about this exact vehicle. This was not a walk-in—he had a confirmed appointment. The morning we left, my husband texted Ahmed that we were beginning the drive and would arrive around 2. Ahmed responded, “Sounds like a plan I will see you then.” When we arrived, Ahmed was with another couple. My husband was passed to another salesman and spent approximately an hour waiting for Ahmed. During that time, we inspected the RS, test-drove it, and were prepared to negotiate its purchase. Our daughter and I actually left because we expected my husband to spend the next few hours completing the deal. Instead, after approximately two hours at Bishop, my husband learned that the RS had been sold to another customer while he was physically inside the dealership trying to purchase it. And who was selling it? Ahmed—the salesman who knew we had just driven 5 hours from Houston, confirmed our appointment, knew we were actively en route, and had not even personally sat down with my husband yet. Nobody warned us another buyer was pursuing the car during our five-hour drive. Not when we arrived. Not before the test drive. Not while my husband waited an hour for his scheduled salesman. One phone call or text could have saved our family a 10-hour round trip. But perhaps the most insulting part? Before my husband was even given a meaningful apology or explanation, they attempted to sell him a different vehicle instead. We understand that without a signed contract or deposit, the Audi was not legally ours. That’s not the issue. The issue is allowing a customer to drive five hours for a confirmed appointment, letting him test-drive the specific $59,000 vehicle he came to purchase, keeping him waiting—and then selling it while he’s sitting in your dealership without so much as the courtesy of telling him what’s happening. Our family lost roughly 12 hours of our day and hundreds of dollars in travel expenses because of a situation that could have been prevented with basic communication. This would be unacceptable customer service at any car dealership. From a dealership representing Maserati and Alfa Romeo and selling six-figure automobiles, it’s frankly embarrassing. Luxury isn’t just the badge on the building or the price of the inventory. Luxury is supposed to include the experience. We arrived prepared to spend nearly $60,000 with Bishop. We left with an astonishingly poor impression of what this dealership considers luxury customer service. The standard should be considerably higher than this.

I had been communicating with Ahmed for three days about a specific vehicle and had a confirmed appointment to see it. The morning of the appointment, I even let him know when we were leaving Houston, and he confirmed. My seven-month-pregnant wife and I then drove five hours specifically to purchase this car. When we arrived, Ahmed was with other customers despite our appointment. He barely greeted us before handing us off to a junior salesperson, Faisal. I want to be clear: Faisal was great. He was professional, helpful, and did everything he could. None of this review reflects poorly on him. After the test drive, I told Faisal I was ready to buy and wanted to talk numbers. I was fully prepared to purchase the vehicle on the spot and could have paid cash. We then sat in the office for approximately an hour waiting for numbers that never came. Eventually, Faisal went to find out what was taking so long and discovered that THE CAR HAD BEEN SOLD TO SOMEONE ELSE WHILE WE WERE SITTING IN THE DEALERSHIP WAITING TO BUY IT. I had communicated with them for three days. They knew I was driving five hours. They confirmed my appointment that morning. I arrived, test-drove the car, and explicitly told them I was ready to purchase it. At no point before making the trip was I offered the opportunity to put down a deposit to hold the vehicle. I would have happily done so. What really cemented this experience was Ahmed’s response. He eventually came in, didn’t even apologize, and simply asked if I was interested in another vehicle. After driving five hours with my pregnant wife specifically for this car? Absolutely not. No manager even came to speak with me while I was there. I had to actively call the dealership multiple times afterward before finally getting a manager on the phone, only to receive what felt like a half-hearted apology. I understand dealerships sell cars and that an appointment doesn’t necessarily guarantee a vehicle. That’s not the issue. The issue is the complete lack of communication and respect for our time. If another customer was actively buying the car, tell me. If I need to put down a deposit before driving five hours, give me that option. If I’m sitting inside your dealership ready to buy while someone else is purchasing the same vehicle, communicate with me. I’ve worked in sales and around car dealerships, and I have never seen a situation handled this poorly. I’ve requested a call from the general manager because I sincerely hope he expects better customer service from his business. Faisal deserves credit for doing his best in an awful situation. The way the dealership handled everything else was completely unacceptable.

I worked with Wendy to purchase a Lexus GX460 from out of state and had a great experience. She was easy to communicate with, transparent throughout the process, and helped coordinate transport to Colorado. Buying a car remotely can be a little nerve-racking, but Wendy made the transaction smooth from start to finish. The vehicle arrived exactly as described and everything went very smoothly. I purchased a truck from you in November. I have reached out to my salesman Joe Young and whoever in finance emailed me. Issues I had was with the dealer prep fee. I advised Joe I did not want window tint because I will have my person do the % I want and all ceramic. He advised it was already done and could not be removed. The other main part of the fee was a second key ( I have Alpha OBD and make my own keys). I had a hauler pick the truck up. There was a check engine light on. It was for irrational thermostat. Joe advised the sensor had been replaced and just needed the light cleared (which they did). When I received the truck the check engine light was back on for the thermostat and I noticed the tint on the front windows is from the original owner (tint shop sticker in the tint) and had damage to the tint, the rest of the windows are factory stain not tinted. Finally today I had the thermostat replaced. The thermostat and the integrated temperature sensor are still original and were not changed. I am not even sure what pain protection is on the truck. My detail guy had to do paint correction to ceramic coat the truck properly. My experience with this dealership is not good at all. There is a huge lack of integrity. I feel scammed for almost $2,000 of dealer prep that was not done. I have paid $2,000 for a second key that I can make for $70 at this point. I have paid out of pocket a $750 paint protection $775 ceramic tint job including removing the original damaged tint , $350 thermostat replacement. All things I was told were done and can not be removed from the invoice. I have left a negative review online to which someone replied to contact the manager. I reached out to the finance person via email and asked they forward my email of concerns to the GM. It also included the text history of how the windows were tinted, the paint protection was completed, and a key was made. I am hoping for some actual resolution to this situation.

Buyer beware! Once you deal with this business it becomes very obvious why their BBB accreditation has been revoked and they continue to pile up complaints with BBB and the state of Texas. You’ve been warned - Bishop Imports LLC is an unmitigated disaster of a dealership. Any high end vehicles they sell have extensive damage or troubled maintenance history. They will list and sell high end cars without holding the title and they mistreat the cars while under their inventory (leave high-6 figure cars parked in harsh Texas weather, not kept on battery tenders etc.). Their employees will misinform you and not be transparent. They will say yes to everything you want to hear to get your money or signature, then the rest is up to chance to work out. I’m shocked these high end brands like Maserati would allow such an incompetent dealership to represent their brands. Steer clear and avoid the headaches. On top of that they’ll try to nickel and dime you and pad your sale with useless “packages” and fees. There are several other Italian/Euro dealers in DFW, make sure you skip over this one for your financial safety and sanity.

Watch for their lies. A $2,000 package was added to the sale price. I asked for it to be removed and they said it could not be. It was for a second key and tint and paint protection I did get a second key, nothing on the paint as per my detail guy, the tint is from the previous owner (there is a sticker with the company info) and the tint has damaged spots. Reached out and they have done nothing to make it right. I guess a second key cost me $2,000. The dents on the truck were conveniently not in the pictures. Overall a poor experience and feel taken for an extra $2,000.

**Update - Better Business Bureau Accreditation Revoked** This is NOT a BBB accredited business anymore. Last year I bought a used Maserati Quatt SQ4 with 63000/m from this dealership. This was not my primary driver. When I test drove it, the steering wheel made a weird squeaking noise sometimes while turning. The sales person said it was just something that needed lubricating. The brakes also squeaked when stopping. I was told the rotors and pads had all just been changed after an inspection, and perhaps it was a brake grease thing. I asked for documentation of this, which I received. It was also posted in the maintenance records for the vehicle on carfax, as well that all were changed, along with an intense inspection (100 and something point, etc). I bought the car along with two years of their recommended Axiom warranty, gold package. I drove it back to Dallas for maintenance 2 months later, with only the mileage added of driving it from the dealership to home and back. I requested they do whatever lube the steering wheel needed and grease the still squeaking brakes. At that point they told me the entire steering column needed replaced to the tune of $4500. There was also a rear main seal leak, Another 5k to fix. Warranty would cover none of it. I did neither of those, and basically garaged it for a year. Today I took it elsewhere for an oil change and tire rotation, and they showed me the rotors... which are shot and obviously had NEVER been changed (Another $5000). I don't think it's a coincidence that Bishop noted the vehicle needed new rotors and pads. They obviously notated it but never actually changed them. Maybe they intended to do so, but it sold first. Do your homework before you believe the info included in their online vehicle postings. If you're buying something under 50k, your vehicle probably wasn't a priority. When I drove my quattroporte over for that first maintenance, they lost it. I was scheduled to pick up the vehicle at this time. It took an hour to get them to acknowledge me, then they said they couldn't find my car. I waited another hour. Eventually, a sales person let me go behind the lot to the back, into the garage, etc to find my car. I had to find it myself. If you're not buying an extreme upper-end vehicle here, don't be surprised to feel that you, as a customer, are forgettable. Your business wasn't appreciated and your new vehicle wasn't worth the service promised. And maybe not even worth remembering where it was discarded.

I went to this dealership to buy an electric car . I test-drove it and liked it, and no one mentioned any issues. Edgar, the person who sold me the car, told me it came with a Level 2 charger, but when I bought it, it turned out to be Level 1—and it didn’t even work. They also said the car had a Tesla adapter and could charge at any outside station, which was not true, so I had to spend my own money on a new charger. A few days later, I noticed the tires were flat. I went back, and they just changed the tires and told me everything was fine. Do you really think the person who changed the tires didn’t see that the rim was broken? Later, I went back again, and they looked at the car one more time but still claimed nothing was wrong. When I finally discovered the rim was actually broken, they refused to take responsibility and said I would have to pay 50% of the cost to replace it. On top of that, the rim they offered was more expensive than what the official Volvo dealer charges. Even after explaining everything to Brad Cherry, the manager, nothing was done to fix the situation. I ended up having to repair everything elsewhere and pay out of pocket. This dealer is dishonest, careless, and misleading. They ignore real problems and make excuses instead of helping their customers. Do not buy from this dealer.

I came in here on the 6th of March. It took the sales lady fifteen seconds to decide she didn't want to do business. I never even saw the car. She kept asking over and over after answering the first time about $ 10,000 down like that was supposed to be something extremely hard to have. Pretty xxxx poor service for selling entry-level luxury cars. She also didn't disclose that the car was a demo. I went down the next day and bought a Tonale in Houston. Thank you for wasting my time.
